Shared Care for Fathers

Shared care is not automatic but relies on the father being active and supportive to his children. Here are my tips:

  1. A father can demonstrate to the family court that they are a great father by being a part of every aspect of his children’s lives.
  2. An active father should be involved in his children’s daily activities; collect from school / drop off at home, and responsibilities such as homework.
  3. Know the doctor’s name(s), teachers, and any other major area of his children’s lives.
  4. Do normal things with the children like arranging playdates for them on weekends and holidays.
