We are looking for a positive and well organised law clerk to join Jeremy’s busy Shortland Street practice. You would be reporting to Jeremy and getting to know the practice inside and out while gaining valuable legal work experience.
Your role while be primarily administrative with some legal tasks, including research and drafting proceedings. You will be managing files, scheduling meetings and drafting letters, memorandums and submissions.
Proficiency in word and excel is required.
Ideally, you will be IT savvy and can assist in making changes to Jeremy’s website, create an extension of his “Dropbox” for clients, as well as generally streamlining office procedures. Previous IT experience would be good, but is not essential.
The role is for 10-15 hours per week.
We are located on Level 3, 70 Shortland Street in the Shortland Chambers building in the Auckland Central Business District.
